Preheat the oven to 350F
Prepare the cake tin. Grease an 7in square cake tin and line with non-stick baking parchment.
In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
Beat the eggs into the bowl one at a time.
Chop up the chocolate separately and set aside.
Chop the pecans.
Fold the nuts and chocolate into the butter and egg mixture.
Add the vanilla extract and cold brew to the mixture. Mix together well.
Add the baking powder, then sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Mix well; the mixture will be quite wet.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared tin and level out.
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Allow to cool in the tin for ten minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool.
To serve, cut into squares and dust with icing sugar.
